Nintendo Announces Plans for E3

Nintendo has just announced their plans for E3, and what they'll be doing to bring all of the information and new release plans to everyone.

They started by announcing that instead of a live conference at E3, they'll be doing what they did last year and instead going with a "Digital Event". Whether this is going to be different than the traditional Nintendo Direct that they used at last year's E3 or not hasn't been elaborated on yet, but hopefully we'll find out more about it soon.
The event will be live on June 10th, on 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET/ 5 PM GMT.

That's not all the news we got though; Nintendo went on to announce "Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3" which will show off in-depth demos of the games that they'll be announcing at E3. Whether or not Nintendo will be releasing these demos to the public like they did last year at the Best Buy event is unsure, but they did announce that they will be partnering up with Best Buy again this year for something similar.

A "Super Smash Bros. Invitational" will be held at the E3 floor, and will be a contest between Smash Bros. players to see who can win at a short demo of Super Smash Bros. 4 for Wii U/3DS. Which version will be available though hasn't been shared yet. On top of that, we're also getting a similar Smash Bros. demo at Best Buy locations just like last year.
