Nintendo Confirms "No New Hardware At E3"

Despite the new patent application that Nintendo submitted a while back about some sort of new system with interchangeable controls, it seems that we won't be seeing any new hardware from Nintendo at E3.

Nintendo denied all rumors about a possible new hardware reveal at this year's E3 during a talk with CVG, saying that any new announcements weren't being considered by Nintendo.

It's possible that Nintendo had only submitted that patent to secure the idea for themselves, should they use it in the future, as this is a really common practice in the industry.
