Nintendo may be working on a new handheld device, according to a patent application they submitted. The patent shows off various images and information about how the device's controller pad and buttons would be interchangeable, meaning that you could perhaps replace the D-Pad with a second circle-pad, and vice versa.

It's very likely that we could be hearing about this at E3, as earlier this week when Nintendo's E3 site went up, people managed to find something about a new device announcement hidden in the site's code, which was later removed.
