Remember that leaked image of Mega Lucario and Mega Blazekin in some sort of fighting game a while back? Well, it's time to start up the rumor mill again!
The Pokémon Company has trademarked the names "Pokken Fighters" and "Pokken Tournament" in Europe, however that's all we've heard. Trademarks were filed in the US for those exact two names during the month of August in 2013, with the original video (viewable below) that teased the concept in the first place being shown at an event in Tokyo, so it doesn't seem like the potential game will be region-specific.
The Pokemon Company have stated in the past that what we saw was "merely conceptual", and that they had no plans at all to announce anything about it at the time, which made the buzz around the whole thing die down a bit.
