New Hyrule Warriors Images Released - Reveals Impa And Possible New Story Mode

Some new images have been released of Hyrule Warriors on the official game website, showcasing the game's beauty among other reveals.

You can check out the full list of images on the official website at:

The first set of images showcase what might possibly be the earlier years of Link's life, according to the game of course. Instead of Link's usual green attire, he is shown in some kind of knight-in-shining-armor approach similar to that of the guards seen in Twilight Princess.

Link's Triforce, as well as the cinematic feel of the pictures, presents the possibility for its own storyline as a spin-off. Or they could just try to cram the game into the already cramped Zelda Timeline.

possibly in the form of Ganon and Zelda

The second "category" of images reveal playable character Shiek. Her fighting style is centered around her huge sword, as she uses it to sweep away her enemies.

Shiek also has a strong possibility of being connected to the plot in some way (assuming this game has one). She would most likely be heavily involved with the protection of Zelda, as seen in other games, and may even be a mentor of sorts to Link.

With this reveal came the expected announcement of a multiplayer mode for the game. It is pretty obvious but now confirmed nonetheless.

Finally, the last set of images (excluding the beautiful pictures of Link destroying everything and the various new locales) are of the enemies we will be facing off with.

Enemies range from the minion/henchmen we have already seen, to the new exciting mini-bosses that are standard fair in the Dynasty Warrior games. As this game is structured in a similar way, it is safe to assume that the man with the fire staff, the sorceress with the... sex appeal, and the mage similar in appearance to Vivi from the Final Fantasy series.

Not to focus exclusively on sex appeal but it is interesting to note the massive sex appeal shown off in a kid friendly series. This is obviously as a result of a different development team and a lot more creative control by the Dynasty Warriors developers: Omega Force; and Dead or Alive/Ninja Gaiden developers: Team Ninja.

It is interesting to note that Nintendo rarely finds themselves in these situations and it raises the question of just how far Omega Force and Team Ninja are willing to go with this spin-off.

Sex appeal much?

That's all for this update! For more news/updates on Hyrule Warriors and other Nintendo games be sure to keep up with Nintendo Alliance!
